Erin Boyle and Rose Pearlman collaborated with us to bring you a knitting project that was inventive, thoughtful, and accessible. The result? A beautifully considered Cowl Cap pattern designed by Rose and knit and documented by Erin.

Some of us have been knitting all winter. It’s a calming and quiet cure for the blender that can swirl around us.

Artist and collaborator Amelie Mancini is one of those people. In early January, we shared with you the start of her journey with our Patchwork Blanket pattern. Working through color choices and watching the overall layout of the blanket evolve were top of mind. 

In December you might remember we escaped to the natural beauty of the Berkshires to find a bit of solitude and inspiration for our Adult Winter Collection shoot. We received heaps of questions and interest around our location, so we took a dive back in with some insight from Nina Zacek, VP of operations and Unfinished Projects at TOURISTS.

We photographed real mums and their babies in an exquisite private home in Ipswich, MA. This 1696 antique is owned by Katie Henry, who owns Labor in Vain - a beautifully curated retail shop - and Rumphius Flowers - wild, natural design pieces for weddings and parties.

This winter we are collaborating with French artist and Brooklyn resident, Amelie Mancini on a little project. Well, it’s actually not quite so little. Using our FW21 and SS22 yarns, she is creating her own take on our Patchwork Blanket.

We are pausing our communications for a moment to provide space and time to rest and be with your family. This can be the busiest time of year.

It all started with a sample. When our factory produced a random Circus Cardigan sample using a mash-up of leftover yarn, we were surprised - and smitten. As it turns out, two of our signature patterns - Space Dye and Confetti - just get better when mixed and matched. And a collection was born.
